π Back to Basics #πb2b
What are the basics ?
1. Caloric intake π
2. Planning π
3. Tracking π
4. Movement π
5. Journaling π
Today letβs talk about calories!
Most people will need to stay around 1200-1600 a day to lose weight! (always ask your doctor)π§ π₯
Most overweight people take in only a few hundred calories a day more than a thin person but the compounded affect of those extra calories is obesity. π§ π₯
I can work out for an hour and barely burn 400 calories! So, you canβt work off what you eat in the kitchen at the Gym! This was a very hard lesson for me to learn!
If you start to understand #intune eating with how many calories you are taking in a light π‘ will go off and you will realize that you are eating too much. π§ π₯
The math of permanent weight loss. 3500 calories is equal to one pound of fat. If you have an Apple Watch it tells you active and inactive calories that you are burning.
I burn 1,500 a day if i just sit and now I burn another 700 with movement. Thatβs 2,200 a calories a day I burn! so, If I ate 2200 a day and burned 2200 a day, I wouldnβt lose weight. Does that make sense ? So I eat about 1500 burn 2200 and thatβs how you lose weight!!! So I burn 700 more calories daily than I consume. If 3500 calories = one pound of fat ... then i would love close to 1.5 pounds a week.
If you walk an hour a day and stay within your desired calorie range. This would happen for you too. Itβs science and while itβs not exact ... I lost faster than science said and I did it in healthy way!
i prefer #intune eating but you will use calories to judge your performance!!! π§ π₯
